The ability to understand and navigate the world’s waterways and oceans has been the key to the success of civilizations throughout history. The Mariners’ Museum has begun a master planning process that will transform its existing collection and gallery spaces into a unified series of experiences that will explore the importance of maritime history in the development of the culture and strength of America.
Proun contracted with Christopher Chadbourne & Associates to collaborate with their design team in the development of the aesthetics of the exhibits including unique typographic treatments, color palettes, and sample graphics for each of the nine galleries. These designs were integrated into renderings by Benoit Jacques.
