From this humble barn in the heart of the Berkshires came some of the most inspired works of heroic grandeur and idealized beauty of the Victorian era. It is here where American Renaissance sculptor, Daniel Chester French, cast into the bronze figure of a young farmer the spirit of revolution, chiseled the weight of war into the gaze of a president, and captured in marble the serenity of a sleeping shepherd.
Proun designed and produced the graphics for the exhibit gallery, renovated by Museum Design Associates. A system of over 50 interpretive panels, murals, and way finding elements complement the elegance of this great sculptor’s art.
