Plimoth Plantation
Plymouth, MA
Exhibit and Wayfinding Graphics: proun

In 1620, the Pilgrims established the first permanent European colony in New England.
Plimoth Plantation is a living history museum dedicated to recreating daily life in the settlement complete with accurate reproductions of the settlers’ dwellings, furniture, and clothing.

Since the spring of 2000, proun has designed and implemented entrance and parking lot signage and interpretive and wayfinding graphics on the grounds and in the lobby of the Visitor Center. Exterior interpretive panels provide a preview of activities at the Plantation, as well as the Mayflower II and Hobbamock’s Homesite. The new color scheme, mural, informational and wayfinding signage in the Visitor Center help better orient and prepare guests for their visit.
