Atlas-quality maps, ethnic textile patterns, postage stamp ID panels, and post card graphics, allude to the world trip the visitor has embarked upon as they navigate the renovated exhibits at the National Aviary in Pittsburgh. Wood cut and line art illustrations along with photos provide context for conservation and natural history information while recycled timbers and bowed acrylic panels complement the environmental nature of the exhibits.

“The new graphics have become the standard by which we measure ourselves and that we will strive to surpass — no easy feat.” — JIM BONNER, Director of Operations
