The natural history and species of seven major North American habitats ranging from the Everglades to the rocky Northwest coast to the Sonoran desert are interpreted on an elegantly understated system of vertical panels and horizontal interpretive rails. Multi-colored silkscreen illustration, simple interactives, a natural color palette, and a sensitive typographic treatment combine to inform the visitor while not detracting from the environment. The interpretive and wayfinding signage are merged into one cohesive system across 250 acres of trails, habitats, and zoo facilities.
