In the late 1800s, the expansion of the US Navy and growing complexity of shipbuilding led to the creation of the Naval Architecture program at MIT. Since then, it has evolved to address the ever-increasing technological demands as the world turns to the oceans for energy, food, minerals, defense, and transportation.

proun worked with the Director of the Ocean Engineering program to develop a simple, direct, and elegant display that provides and overview of the outstanding achievements of this program.
